Making a Difference for Young Women

2/14/2018

Did you know only 12 percent of engineers and 26% of computing professionals are women? That's a staggeringly low number, and the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) is taking steps to help.

The Geri Wolff Foundation Scholarship is granted annually to a female college student, in her junior or senior year, who is committed to  choosing a career in the digital signage industry. The award is intended to help broaden employment diversity by encouraging employers to hire qualified women in a variety of IT capacities.

As an organization, the DSF has opened the Geri Wolff Foundation Scholarship for donations. Now YOU have the chance to make a difference by adding to the $2,000 scholarship awarded by the DSF.

The ratio of female students in engineering and IT sector is not very high and this situation is critical. For the solution of this DSF foundation took huge steps to cover up this deficiency with some logical blogs for women.
